At Teapoy, I took on the top-to-bottom branding of a soon-to-be-opened teahouse and conversation club in collaboration with Saloni Sabnis under contract with TWO Design. The challenge was to elicit an intellectual atmosphere and yet convey a charming and inviting tone through branding alone. The solution was to brand around a logo with historical roots. To do this, we dug up (illustrated) a rustic little three-legged table: a teapoy. It’s a humble piece of furniture, and a traditional one in an Indian context. By keeping things playfully intricate throughout the branding process around the teapoy, we tried to create a harmony of details. The details do harmonize -- down to the napkins and the coasters. The end result is a warm set of conversation starters.

This work is in its final stages, awaiting the opening of the teahouse itself. We're currently bringing the space to life. Meanwhile, here's a picture of the untouched location.
