Hi! I am a design consultant based in Pune, India. I currently work full-time in my company, Reach, where we track and measure social impact and work hard to make information on development in India accessible to everyone :)
At the influence of my mother who is an illustrator-turned-sculptor, I have been able to fearlessly use colours and chaos in my work. The outcome is often illustrative, always emotive, and aims to be contextually informed.
I graduated from MIT Institute of Design, Pune, India in 2012 and have since spent three years working independently and collaborating with other designers and creative teams. My commissioned projects have ranged widely -- from visual narration for an indie short film to the conceptualisation and design work for a tea-house. I have also designed for three seasons of Lakmé Fashion Week, Mumbai (Fall/Winter 2015 being the latest). In 2013, I moonlit as a designer for Saaf India Foundation (an initiative started at the THNK School of Creative Leadership, Amsterdam) since its inception that year, developing waste management solutions for the Indian Railways. In 2016, I returned to India from the 30 Weeks Program in New York, where I incubated an idea to create solutions to incentivise responsible civic behaviour among Indians.
